The organizers of the Hungarian Grand Prix announced the reconstruction of the track Hungaroring.


The plan includes infrastructure upgrades, construction of new buildings, a management center and a visitor area. The circuit configuration will remain the same.


The organizers also reported that they had already sold all 100, 000 tickets for the race of the 2023 season. Tickets for the Hungarian Grand Prix 2022 were sold out only in April.


It cannot be ignored that the infrastructure of the new tracks is at a much higher level than ours. Thanks to a strategic development program, we will be able to compete with them for the foreseeable future, which will allow us to keep F-1 racing, - commented the president of the track, Zsolt Gyulai.


The contract for the Grand Prix is valid until 2027.
